So here it is- another bio page for yet another cooking community.

You may be asking yourself, "Self, should I join this community? Is it right for me?"

Well, we don't know if it is. But we can tell you if it isn't.

If you don't know how to cook? This isn't the place for you. (watching and asking questions is fine, but if you have basic cooking questions, please check out cooking. That's the right community for that.)

If you post lousy photographs of food? This isn't the place for you.

If you have 2 eggs, a pocketful of lint, a box of pasta elbows and some processed American cheese food product and want to know what you can do with it(in ten minutes and you don't want to have to go to the store, and you have a budget of .43 cents)? We'll tell you, but you won't like it. This isn't food_puzzle. This isn't the place for you.

If you think Applebees is "going out to eat" in anything other than a strictly technical sense, this isn't the place for you.

If you are trying to get us to do your job/research for you? This isn't the place for you.

If you are seeking validation, e-cookies and a kitten because your child/so/pet has suddenly taken an oh so precious interest in cooking? This isn't the place for you.

If you consider making your food from a box mix worthy of posting on the internet? This isn't the place for you.

If you're trying to trick/con your family/friends/so into jumping onto whatever your particular eating bandwagon is "for their own good"? This is *really* not the place for you.


Everyone else? Come on in. Post recipes, ask questions, post photos, share frustrations. Eat, drink and be merry. Or whatever it is you are.
